Angel tapped her foot impatiently. She knew one of the sins had come to Kalis and had tried to contact him. He was supposed to meet her at the mall, but he still hadn't appeared. It was hard to get someone to help you overthrow a sin if they weren't there.

Asmodeus spotted Wrath's granddaughter across the mall, and began sneakily sneaking up on her.
She wanted help overthrowing Wrath? No problem. Asmodeus didn't like him either. And it was generally the kind of things demons did. Person with lots of power gets quite a lot of challengers. If they couldn't stand up to the challengers, then too bad. Asmodeus was quite confident no one would come up to him anytime soon, mainly because for all his carefree-ness, you didn't want to get him mad. And the side effects of being the Patron of Lust were somewhat deterring as well.
You don't listen when I tell you not to ramble, don't you?
Of course not.

Angel spotted Asmodeus and actually smiled. She didn't know her sins well, but he was one she did know. He would be more likely to help her than probably any other sin. Sloth would be too lazy. Pride would think it was beneath them. Greed would probably want to kill her too so he could take wrath for himself. She had no idea how envy or gluttony would react, but Asmodeus was often quite helpful.
"Hello," she called to him. Kalis was rubbing off on her. She was actually being nice.

"Hey," he said casually. "You sure you're related to Wrath, mon cherie?" A healthy dose of his French-tinged accent couldn't hurt, Asmodeus decided. It was always entertaining to see how well other Sins stood up to others' power. Unfortunately, it seemed his nephew Ignar was immune.
"So what do you need help with? Want me to play Cupid, I'm your demon."

Angel started to smile, but she quickly realised what she was doing. She shook her head. Just Asmodeus' aura was welcoming. Since she wasn't wrath herself, sin abilities still effected her slightly.
"I want your help killing my grandfather," she said with fire in her eyes. There was nothing she wanted more to take her rightful place as one of the sins.

"Yep, sounds like fun," Asmodeus nodded. "Did you have a plan in mind?"
He enjoyed playing on people's faulty emotions, especially vanity. There was so much you could do to a being with a little flattery in the right places. For example, had a human desired for Asmodeus to show him the love of his life, the demon would promptly have rustled up a mirror.
That was a blatantly obvious Bartimaeus trilogy reference.
Was not. I don't know what you're talking about.

"No, I have no plan," Angel said. Her grandfather was better at planning than she was. A good reason he shouldn't be wrath in her mind, but most people would disagree. Planning out a long awful torture was so much better than something quick and painless. She couldn't help but roll her eyes at all the sarcasm in her thoughts.

"Well, then, we must go and observe him to find out his weakness!" Asmodeus tucked his arm through Angel's and proceeded to attempt in dragging her off.
Wrath's weakness? Probably his nonexistent anger management skills. Perhaps we could be his art therapy tutors, who were there to bear witness to an unfortunately fatal attack by wild demons. Asmodeus' smile grew as pleasant as the Grinch's.

Angel walked along with Asmodeus. It was really weird for her since she was rarely close to others, but lust had an aura that made it less awkward. "His anger would probably be his downfall. He doesn't know how to let out his anger correctly. He just wants to plot and then his anger becomes something that all know of and hate. We could probably get family members of those he has tortured or killed to help us kill him," she said.

"Aaah, the old Aztec trick, hm?" Asmodeus nodded sagely. "Good times, good times. So, who do we need to go pester?"
In some ways, the Patron of Lust was like a small child.
Make that in all ways, Azzy.
Hmph. At least I'm not old and grumpy like some Sins I could name.
Hey!
Oi, Luke, stay out of this, you're not supposed to be here anyway! You're a figment of twilightstar's subconscious!
Don't call me a figment of my imagi--gah, what is it now, Samuel Argus Thorttenheim Angus Norschenvarger??!
See. That's why he shouldn't be here.

"I'm not really sure who. He hates faeries if I remember correctly. Shouldn't be to hard to find some around here," Angel said. She was already getting excited. Hopefully they would find some temporary allies.

"Fairies, you say?" Asmodeus grinned. "I met one earlier. Chasing my nephew around, unfortunately."
You two must share the family trait of being incredibly irritating.
Why do you always interrupt my narration?
Asmodeus sighed and shook his head ruefully, as if to make a silent comment on the personality of today's youth. He wondered how old (or young) this "Angel" demoness was.

"Yes, faries. Are you worried that your nephew may want to take the sin for himself if he has the right blood?" Angel asked. Most of the sins didn't seem to expect to get overthrown, but most of them were to busy doing some crazy thing to think about it anyway.

"Nope." Asmodeus shrugged. "My particular Sin has a few...side effects...that would deter most. Bouts of insanity, manic attraction to the color pink, proneness to making charismatic or suggestive rhymes in regular conversation, general childishness, and usually some particular area that will set me off into a mad rage. I'm quite the bundle of fun, in more ways than one."
Quite.
Again with the interruptions!

"I see nothing wrong with insanity or rages," Angel said, "All sins have side effects. Wrath probably has the least, since it really only makes you constantly angry. Of course, anyone could argue how each one has it's own strencths or weaknesses. It's really just time consuming."
