Angel enjoyed the clerk's change of mood. While envy was not hers, they were very similar. She enjoyed any mood that could easily turn destructive. To annoy her more, Angel pulled Asmodeus to a table as soon as he was finished paying. The look she got was priceless.

Asmodeus grinned as his back turned to the seething clerk. "Thanks for playing along with my little game, Angel," he whispered so that only the demon beside him could hear, but made sure the clerk caught the last word, so it sounded like an endearment term.

She giggled like a little girl. "Anything for you," she said happily. Playing this game was so much fun for her.

Asmodeus nearly choked on his cappuccino at hearing Wrath's granddaughter act like this. He covered it up with a chuckle and a flick of his head, sending his pink bangs to the side. A nearby mother shook her head sternly at him and muttered something about the fashion of today.
"Sooo...down to business?" Asmodeus asked in a low voice, keeping his eyes light and playful for the clerk's benefit.

Angel's expression became more serious, but it was still a little playful for the clerk. It was a look that could make you think that she was there for something important, but she was going to have fun with it. "Ah yes, business," she said quietly. Her mind raced through al the wonderful possibilities.

"Where does ol' Granddad usually hang out?" Asmodeus asked, smiling faintly. "Any place we can set up an ambush and throw purple dragons at him?"
What the heck is that supposed to mean?
Sssh you're not supposed to be here! I'm narrating my own life, thank you very much!

"He can often be found in the Fields of Punishment, but I don't know about throwing purple dragons at him," Angel said. She wished Asmodeus wasn't so eccentric, but then again, all the sins were eccentric. He was probably the easiest to deal with of the seven.

"Fun," Asmodeus said. "Do you think he'd get mad if I asked him if Tantalus was under control?"
The pink-haired demon smiled to himself as he remembered the last three times the troublesome Greek had escaped. Wrath hadn't been happy. Or rather, he'd been grumpier than usual.
((Note--Hurricane Sandy is due to hit my area sometime today, so if I don't reply for a couple days, it's probably because my power went out.))

Angel smiled. "He probably would, but I don't see how just getting him angry will do much for us. Is there something I'm missing?" she asked. She liked seeing others mad, but that wasn't really going to help.
((Sandy will be hitting me soon as well.))

"Wait, I've got it." Asmodeus spread his arms wide, envisioning the scene. "We make him so mad...that he explodes. Literally. Into a million trillion tiny little pieces. And we capture it on film."
He laughed and continued, "But anyway, we'll need a celestial or demonic weapon to kill him, at the very least. And then it's simply a matter of defeating him in combat, whether by fair means or not."

"Well there are two of us and only one of him. But he is really strong. We'll probably need some fairies to help us still. And the weapons... Do you have any like that?" Angel asked. She had no weapons, so that meant no celestial or demonic ones.

"I do have my old holy rapier," Asmodeus tapped his fingers on the table. "But we need to find one for you. There's probably a dealer out on the Fringe who can get us one."

"Then I guess we should head to the Fringe," Angel replied. She was itching to get a weapon, even though she normally didn't like them. She'd do anything to defeat her grandfather.

Asmodeus stood up and shot a final cheeky wink at the clerk. He was surprised to see that she was still standing, and not a scorch mark or mushroom cloud by the way she was looking at him. Laser beams coming out of her eyes would have been expected.
"So, you done with your coffee, dear?" Asmodeus gazed imploringly at Angel with wide eyes.

Angel laughed playfully. "Of course, honey," she said. She got up and glanced at the clerk with a little smile. The look she got in return was wonderful, but it made her wonder if the clerk would actually explode.
