Vill sighed and tugged Ignar back towards the way they had come from. He had no plans to take him back to the apartment, but here was not an ideal place anyway. "You coming?" he asked Eiryel.

Eiryel shrugged, completely blanking out her 'dire' situation as she mostly did. She just watched as Vill and Ignar came out of the shop and just kind of drifted off. Her mind drifting between the two and the wonderfully colored candy store. Candy... Sweety sweets... No! I must stay on... Candy... Her mind struggled to stay stay focused. It didn't help that the demon came out with that delicious candy scent on him.
And whoever said that she didn't have a senistive nose? Pshaw! (Its only sensitive when its food or some very nasty garbage.) Sadly for her cat-like mind, she was drawn back to reality when Vill had asked her if she was coming. Tapping herself on the cheek, she nodded and chased after the two. Her scythe still out and silently sliding across the ground like as if it was sliding against sand.

Ignar refused to help Vill's process of dragging him along, and hang there limply, resigned to whatever fate awaited him once they were out of human sight. Of course, if they waited around too long, the tables would be turned. Ignar was being quite careful in his focus of not breathing, for he didn't want to smell the scent of the humans gathered around and go out of control earlier than he wanted. Bad things happened to the minds of demons who went out of control around a large group of humans. At least, bad things happened to those who had a conscience, which Ignar did (it was buried, but it came out occasionally, mostly to snag a breath before Ignar shoved it back into a forgotten corner of his brain).

Vill finally reached a good place. It was a little alleyway with no humans nearby as far as he could tell. "So what shall we do with him?" he asked Eiryel.

The angel followed after the two with a good distance of perhaps four or five feet behind them. She hadn't the slightest idea of where they were head so she just tagged along as a puppy might and didn't ask any questions. Though she did have to admit that she was amazed at how calm Ignar seemed. He didn't fight against the much younger Vill (well that was probably because she was there) and he seemed to be so still that it didn't look like he was even breathing. Wait a second... He wasn't breathing!
Eiryel couldn't help but count how long it took them to get into a place where they would be out of human sight. The entire time she didn't think he even took one breath. Was he trying to suffocate himself? Unlikely. Demons don't die that easily, She sung to herself in her mind before pausing with a tilt of her head, I don't think they do anyway...
She looked at Vill who was now still standing there with the (she could've swore) purple Ignar. (He most likely wasn't but her imagination is just off.) Eiryel straightened. What to do now... Yes that was a very good question. I don't know, your the one who first chased after him what did you intend to do?

"I just wanted to smack him around a little. Show him he wasn't the best around," Vill sighed. A little wave of energy flowed from his hands, slowing down Ignar. He wouldn't be able to do much while he was thinking. At least, if he wasn't stronger than Vill thought.

Ignar heard the muffled voices through the haze in his head. Hm. Immortals. How irritating. The demon yawned, finally drawing breath. And it was then that the true weight of his hunger hit him. When had he last gone hunting? One week before? Two? He wanted to say three.
Let go or you're going to regret it, he snapped at the fairy holding him. Not much longer now, Ignar thought. I hope I don't cause too much chaos.

"Sure, I'll let you go," Vill said mischeviously. A stronger wave of the slowing down magic came from his hands before he let go. "How's that?" he asked, laughing. Fairy nature always won out.

Ignar felt the slowing-down magic drag on his body. He almost laughed. He wanted to laugh. Laughing was fun. But what would he be laughing at? The futility of such magic now? Heheh. Heh.
As a demon, his instincts were quite overpowering, particularly the wolf-like one that fueled the thrill of the hunt. It raced through his body now, burning through the fairy's magic--he was younger than Ignar anyway, so his magic wouldn't be as potent against an older being--and wrapped itself around the demon's brain.
Stretching like a cat, Ignar swiftly stood straight. His eyes snapped open, glowing malevolent red.
One English class randomly rose to his mind: The Creature of Nightmare is a type of monster usually summoned from the deepest, darkest part of the human psyche. Was that what he was?

Eiryel had merely watched the entire spectacle with a grin on her face. She couldn't help but think it was amusing. She didn't know why but it was. The scene reminded her of some angelic friends of hers from back in the day and of course she hasn't seen them in at least two-hundred years... or was two-hundred fifty? She couldn't remember.
That little light humor dissipated as Eiryel sensed the demon's magic beginning to fluctuate. That usually meant one of two things: one, he was hungry; or two, he was overtaking the younger fairy's magic. She hoped for the later. Her grin had dissapeared. Her eyes narrowed and she gripped her scythe firmly. It seemed that the former had been the right much to her sadness.
You may want to back away from him... Like, very soon. Eiryel warned the fairy. She watched as Ignar straightened almost immediately after stretching the slow-magic out. His eyes were glowing. Well ain't this my lucky day, more work... BAH! The angel sighed aloud, she hated doing this type of work. Hopefully she wouldn't have to if he managed to control that hunger of his. Oh how she prayed.
Well better safe than sorry in any case. Eiryel released her wings, the bright feathers nearly shown against the darkness of the alley. Her violet-eyes glimmered with her electric magic. In turn she held her scythe in a ready position while keeping her body fairly relaxed.

Vill backed off. He was unhappy that the demon was stronger than him. Actually, it was kinda scary. He was glad that Eiryel was with him. He threw up his hand and dissapeared except for light energy and heat signatures. He really hoped that the demon couldn't sense him.

Ignar ignored the fairy who had decided to make himself invisible again and tilted his head back arrogantly, looking at the angel. Heh. Planning on taking me down with that scythe? Good luck.
Supernatural speed lent itself to his feet, and Ignar shot off up a wall, with every step growing farther away from himself, more feral. And in the depths of his mind, a memory played, quiet and forgotten.
The streets of Paris were filled with the sounds of horses and carts, the ringing of the bells for mass, and the singing of a theater troupe in the square. Ignar wormed his way through the crowd, looking at the performers. The leader was a tall man dressed from head to foot in magenta and lavender, with hair as pink as a rose. The people gathered around pointed at the man's head, wondering and murmuring.
When the song was over, Ignar waited patiently. You're...he said, gaping. Asmodeus, Patron de la Luxure, at your service, mon chou, the man answered, bowing slightly. He flicked his pink bangs over one eye, smiling charmingly.
I heard a demon say once that if I ever needed help, I should come to Paris, Ignar said. And I have a problem...

Now Vill was angry. He was just ignored by the demon. He may not be that powerful, but he was not nothing. Invisibility was going to be his advantage.
Vill expanded his wings and shot up to the roof. "Power lend yourself to me, make this wall so slippery," he whispered. He wasn't very good with the poem magic, but it was good enough. A slick oil-like substance sprayed from his hands and coated the wall Ignar was climbing.

Ignar kicked off the oily wall, landing on a lamppost nearby. Feh! he jeered at Vill. Ignar began leaping from lamppost to lamppost, taunting the fairy constantly.
What is your problem, little one? Asmodeus asked. Angels have killed my parents, and now they're after me, Ignar said, glancing over his shoulder. Can you help me? Of course, mon bijou. But why come to me? Admittedly, I am the most...carefree...of the Sins, but there is nothing exceedingly special about my character. Asmodeus' face was puzzled. My father told me to find his brother in Paris, Ignar said evenly, And you're the only demon in the area powerful enough to help, so I figured it must be you.
Ignar danced on his perch, looking every inch like a madman. Heh, insanity must run in the family, he thought fleetingly. And then the part of him with a conscience made its presence known, tackling his out-of-control demon self.
Ignar blinked, and looked around in panic. How had he gotten up here? Oh, right, the wall...Wait, what was that on it? It surely isn't blood. What's going on?
Er...could someone tell me what's going on here? he shouted down to the angel and the invisi-fairy.

Vill laughed. "You don't remember what you've been doing? Well I'll give you hte short version. We came to our apartment. You decided to run off and we chased you. We found you at a candy store. We dragged you over here and then you want all crazy," he said. This demon was crazy.
Vill's eyes widened when he realised the demon would now be able to tell where he was. He looked around frantically for a new place to go, but his wings were too tired to really get him anywhere. He sighed and just hoped he would be able to fend off the demon if he came for him.
