Artemis stood in front of the huge mall silently, she saw the people around her look her way. But they quickly would turn away, because of how scary she looked. Just standing there trying to figure out if she would go in or not. Her long hair was now braided with a few strands hanging over her eye. It held different colored highlights, but the colors that stood out were blue and purple.
After shaking everything off she walked in and she no longer had that creepy look. Now she finally looked like a regular seventeen year old, but sometimes she just wished she could have grown to about twenty. As she looked around at each store she finally walked into a tattoo/hair dye place. Many of the guys who looked up from their tattoo tried to look more manly and such. It had been awhile since Artemis was the center of attention, but she easily ignored it and walked towards the desk.
With a small smile she asked politely "Sir, I would like to see the different colored hair dyes you have." He nodded and went into the back to get out the catalog. As she looked around the shop she wandered if she wanted a tattoo, she knew she would always have a chance to. But the idea of getting one excited her, mostly because there use to not be such things as tattoos for just decorating the skin. As soon as the guy got back he said "Are you going to get new dye today ma'am?"
In reply she shook her head and said "Nope, I am just cataloging this place, so I can remember it." Sometimes she surprised herself with how nice she was to humans. Most of the times she wanted to break down laughing with all the times she plastered a fake smile on her lips. They could be annoying, but then every time she thought this she would regret it when she remembered she use to be human once too. With a shake of her head she shook away her horrible thoughts and flipped through the catalog which in the back had tattoos.

That burning sensation of people staring had burned into the angel's skin. She could feel their eyes aimed in her direction, most of wonder while others had a disapproving look on their faces. A few times she could hear so teenage humans making bad jokes about her style or how dull her 'hair-dye' was or both. Of course that didn't bother the light being. She wasn't one to hold a grudge or be bothered by such trivial matters. She was far too busy to be bothered!
By busy that usually meant wandering into some random store or food market and eyeing the merchandise. It wouldn't be odd for someone to call her insane for how long she could travel and observe. She had, after all, been at it for most of the morning. Then somewhere along the road, er sidewalk; Eiryel found herself at the town's mall. A guady and yet plain thing it was. Guady for all the advertisments, showings, and other pop-out quality things that drew the angels eye. Plain for the buildings natural squares and rectangles. Then again no human building seemed to have the beauty that she had seen back in the sky.
None the less, Eiryel was always intrigued with these places. They drew her to them and in so the angel was always filled a child's excitement. With a giddy feeling Eiryel entered the building. Her ears were out-tuned to the comments about her appearance, instead all the sounds were just one large jumble. Even more so since the angel could hear the electricity itself working through every little bit of the building.
She made her way past toystores, shoe stores, make-up stands, and just about every other stand and shop until the angel felt a rather strong familiar presense. A dark aura but from which direction she had absolutely no idea. There were far too many humans and other creatures in this populated place to tell what anything really was. She had to use natural senses, which sadly were not very... direct. The moment she actually tried to look around, a hair-dye shop had caught her attention. But there was something more that caught her eye. This shop also created the human technique of body art! Yeah she completely forgot what its actually name was...
Either way remembering or not, Eiryel made way for the shop. There weren't as many people inside as she thought but she was not so interested in them but instead she paid much more attention to the designs on the wall. She wasn't even paying attention to the merchandise... Such a sheltered angel... and an overly curious one...
She heard someone at the counter ask for the different colors of dye and it was only then did the angel realize how much thicker the 'scent' of a demon came to be. Well then again, many creatures that weren't angels were attracted to these kinds of places... Goes to show just how special Eiryel is. Well either way, Eiryel had been to one of these shops only once before and got herself one of these human body art thingies. Oddly enough they said it was suppose to be permanent but the ink and pain from all the poking only last about a day before her healing aura overwhelmed the creation and erased it from her body. Ah, the wonderousness of having to be 'pure'.
Attention returning to the demon scent Eiryel glanced to the other customers. At least thats what she thought they were. Her violet eyes merely glancing over each person and then the employees until her eyes were set on the lady with the sample colors and the guy who had brought her the samples. Now she was just staring. It looked like she was staring at the lady but alas her eyes were intent on the thing she was fiddling with in her hands. Eiryel stared but once again she hadn't the slightest clue of what she was actually staring at... Ain't she special?

It was the thought of someone watching her that hit Artemis first. She did not turn around but instead ignored the feeling, since she got it all the time. The man in front of her almost seemed to sigh in relief as he watched a customer walk in. He quickly walked over to her as if he was glad to get away from Artemis. But she did not blame the man, she did give humans a bad feeling. Her brown her swept into her face a few times as she looked at the catalog. But when the stare of the person behind her got to intense she finally smelt the air. Her nose wrinkled as she realized that the angel smell had quickly spread across the room.
Shaking her head she tried to wipe the annoyance of her face. Soon she looked behind her, the angel who was behind her seemed to be staring at her. A confused look spread across Artemis face as she looked at the angel. But as soon as it did she wiped her head around looking down at the catalog once more. A small little growl escaped her lips as if she did not like to be the center of an angel's focus. Closing the catalog gently she walked to the entrance of the shop.
Something told her to stop though, and she happened to stop right beside the angel. She put a fake gentle smile on her face and said "Hello, you know it is not nice to stare ma'am." Snapping out of it she turned towards the entrance once more. Then walking out she looked around for another shop. At least maybe shop far away from this one. She hated how angels always got the glory and such. But she had done something horrible when she was an angel, and now her wings were gone for good no more shining light.
Her small frame shook at the thought of being an angel once more. Shaking her head her body stopped its shaking and the next human she saw she sneered at. They stepped away from her and she growled in frustration. Now she just stood in the open, in the middle of the mall. She felt lost, blinking once or twice she looked towards each shop. 800 years had really passed her by quickly and sometimes she had the sudden blank outs. Closing her eyes she sighed and mumbled to herself "Calm yourself Art, you don't need to be an angel anymore. They do everything right, purity. Not anymore."
As she opened her eyes she got herself together and this time looked at each store as if she had been to all of them. Part of her hoped the angel had not followed her. Angels were always curious, which meant they would want to know the reason for any other creature being in a mall. Shrugging she whispered "Oh well." Then she continued walking letting herself get lost in the crowd of people as she looked around for a good store. Once or twice she stopped to look at the store next to her but then she would continue walking. Finally she found a perfect store, it was clothing store. With a pensive look she walked towards it. She wondered what new clothes the humans had come up with now, as soon as she got into the store part of her turned into a shopping freak. She wanted this jacket she wanted those jeans, but she had no money. She held a look of distaste on her face as she looked around with longing.

A human, at least one of the employees of the shop had probably come to her. Asking the usual, 'Is there anything you see that interests you?' or something similar along those lines. Of course the angel had completely ignored the mortal being, which probably made the poor thing a little depressed. He probably thought that she would be more 'friendly' or even more 'hospitable' than the other customer of the store. Yet strangely enough Eiryel's attention was solely on that other customer despite her hidden discomfort. Anyone would feel awkward if someone just stared at them, so it was a good thing that she wasn't staring at her but rather the paper in her hands.
Eiryel had seen many females carry around those things, mainly the ones who liked this colorful attraction of a shopping place. She never did understand what those things were for nor did she ever try to. Guess she isn't a very dedicated shopper, this angel.
Now the other had decided to see what that uncomfortable staring sensation was. Eiryel could tell that the lady was definitely not happy to see her. There was a look on her face. Maybe of confusion? Eiryel couldn't tell as she wasn't really paying attention to the woman herself. That changed when she had whipped her head away from her eyes' target. Now the silver-hair angel had a look of curiousity on her face. Now why would she seem so jolty? That was the question alright...
Now Eiryel decided to pay attention to the woman whose scent was far too similar to that of a demon's. She watched like a curious cat as the other closed that strange list and began to walk out of the shop. Suprisingly she stopped to almost just in front of her.
At first she merely gave her a questioning look. Was she really staring at her that much? Well duh. She didn't have time to answer or rather she waited too long to answer when the other had left. Eiryel put out a hand in attempt to get her attention but once again her consious wandered to yet another thought. A rather odd thought of, 'Why was her smile so scary looking?'
Well maybe it wasn't so odd but she needed to get out of her daze. Once again the human came to her asking if there was anything at all that she would like. As much as she would've liked to browse some more; Eiryel felt like she should apologize for angering that woman... No matter how scary that aura around her made her seem. Her angelic blood certainly felt the chill, that was for certain. Eiryel completely ignored the human once more and began her chase after the woman.
And of course, she lost her the moment she stepped out of the shop. Even her scent was dimmed by the array of other smells. Of all the times! Why were human places so smelly when they need not be?! Oh well, Eiryel decided after a second. She would find her again sooner or later. It was very hard for her to completely miss another supernatural being, especially if her blood and their's were sworn to be enemies. Sadly, she didn't feel so bent on destroying all demons as most angels should feel. Well, at least do feel. What a rebel this young holy was.
It was probably a small time after Eiryel had lost the other when she thought she saw the demoness in the center of the mall. At least it definitely looked like the same person or thing or it... That was really a woman right? She had heard demons were shape-shifters but she didn't know if they could change genders or not. Somehow that thought sounded sort of fun. Once again, she lost her in yet another crowd. How do they blend in so freakin' easily. Eiryel pouted. Again she followed, trying to make herself think of this as a game.
Wa-la! There the demoness was in a... clothing store? Not so strange. Now she was racing in before she lost her once again. Oh that would be bad. Very, very bad. Hey wait! You, don't know your name but you! Eiryel called after the woman. She didn't even bother to realize a distastful look on her face. Maybe she was hungry or just completely broke? Well not like the angel realized.
