The secretary shuffled the papers on her desk. So far, no one had come to check in, but she had a feeling they would soon. After all, everyone came to Kalis sooner or later. She patiently organized the room key cards in neat cubbies. After this, she arranged her five pens in order of ascending size.

I went through sliding doors into this open, well lit, and beautiful reception area. Walking briskly up to the desk with my two large suitcases I stop momentarily to admire the nice oak wood counter. Wow this place must be expensive. Hahaha. I don't think money is going to be an issue. This is a mandatory vacation before I start working down here. I walked up to the counter and patiently waited for the secretary to look up from what she was doing. It looked to be she was organizing some sort of keys. It's the room keys most likely. She looks and see me then squeals and jumps back in her chair. Oh my you startled me. I didn't even hear you coming in. She tells me still startled. I'm sorry about that.

((it's fine right now since the random secretary isn't really an actual character, but in the future please be careful about controlling other people's actions. Thank you.))
The secretary calmed down and subtly nudged a pen back into its designated position. "You've come to grab a room, right?" she asked. "The Hotel is free and open to all travelers, but we do ask that you keep the room clean and orderly while you stay here. I'll give you a room key whenever you're ready."
